- Search Transport Canada’s current list for the exact vendor, product, ELD identifier, certification number, software/hardware version, and active status.
- Match the installed device and app to the listed combination; a U.S. FMCSA registration is a separate check.
- Verify day-start, engine synchronization, transfer, record, and provincial requirements for the actual route.
- Save the dated list result and repeat the check after any software, hardware, or certification-status change.
Do not state that Factor ELD is Canada-certified unless the exact installed combination appears as active in the official Canadian list and the operation-specific requirements are met.
