Example to try with your fleet
A tanker driver loads, samples the product, waits, drives, unloads, and completes a washout. Check the duty status for each activity, the device’s mounting and electrical connection, and access to sensitive location data. Practice a roadside transfer. Keep cargo and hazmat documents alongside, but separate from, the ELD record.

Use these checks before buying or setting up an ELD. Record the results and resolve any problems before rollout.
