The first delivery is rarely the first task of the day. A driver may check a load, help at the depot, unload at stores and handle returns before finishing the route. Factor ELD provides electronic driving records and duty-status logs that let your team review driving and recorded work together.
Use a route with several delivery types in the demonstration. A dock delivery and a stop where the driver unloads the vehicle can create different operating questions. Focus on how the driver records activity and how the office follows up when a delivery changes the schedule.
Help drivers and the office follow a consistent process
Factor ELD offers a driver app, fleet dashboard, setup guidance and 24/7 multilingual support. Identify who drives, who reviews logs and which vehicles are shared. Confirm phone and truck compatibility before planning a rollout.
If you also need GPS tracking, IFTA reports or dispatch tools, ask which Factor ELD options fit your plan. Temperature records, inventory systems and proof-of-delivery requirements should be evaluated separately; electronic logs document the driver's activity.

For local routes, have your compliance lead confirm the applicable recordkeeping requirements. The number of stops or the fact that deliveries involve food does not settle eligibility for an exception.

Is this the same workflow as refrigerated linehaul?
The product may overlap, but distribution emphasizes repeated customer stops and unloading work. Refrigerated linehaul may center on appointments and longer road segments. Show the team the operation you actually run.
Can Factor ELD replace temperature monitoring?
An ELD is not a temperature-monitoring system. Discuss any separate monitoring hardware or integrations explicitly, and keep cargo-condition records distinct from driver logs.
