Which Factor PT30 is listed?
The September 14, 2026 FMCSA list identifies FACTOR ELD, PT30, software 1.1.0 or higher, FTR321, HOST ELD LLC. Factor FRS is a separate entry. FMCSA listing is manufacturer self-certification, not agency endorsement.
Where do I get the app?
Use the Android and iOS links on Factor downloads. Confirm the app required for your assigned system; do not choose an app solely because its description mentions PT30.
How do I get a login?
The PT30 manual directs drivers without an account to their fleet manager or safety personnel. Use your individual assigned username and password.
How do I choose a truck?
Match the vehicle number or VIN on Select Vehicle. If the truck was preassigned, verify it. To change it, open Menu → Change Vehicle.
How do I know the ELD is connected?
The published PT30 manual shows a green connection icon at the top right. Check the vehicle identity too. An icon alone does not prove all engine data is correct.
How do I review and certify my logs?
Open Menu → Logs, select the date and review its details, then use Certify. The manual also documents a dashboard Certify shortcut for multiple dates; review each record before certifying it.
How do I show or transfer logs?
Open Menu → DOT Inspection. Begin Inspection displays records; Transfer Logs opens the transfer workflow. PT30’s registry entry lists web services and email. Follow the model-specific transfer instructions; the FRS labels differ.
Which cable and phone will work?
Compatibility depends on the exact vehicle, engine, connector, cable and app version. Send these details with a connector photo. The PT30 name does not establish a universal cable or phone compatibility matrix.
What does it cost, and is local installation available?
Request a current offer that separates hardware, subscription, cables, setup and support. Include your location if installation is needed. Confirm the actual delivery method and appointment before making travel or dispatch plans.
Does the U.S. listing establish use in Canada?
No. Canadian certification is a separate check for the exact configuration. Use the cross-border guide and the current Transport Canada list before deployment.
Screen names above come from the published PT30 documentation. Other models and software versions may differ.
